Our Mission
The mission of The Global Food and Drink Initiative is to share, connect and preserve the history and culture of the African diaspora through food, drink and travel.
In addition, our mission is to share powerful narratives and amplify Black voices (past and present) who have been underrepresented, overlooked, ignored or erased from historical and current-day conversations about food and drink.
Community
To be an invaluable storyteller as well as an information, education and health and well-being resource to communities globally.
Business
To support and service a community of entrepreneurs and small business owners through the sharing of resources and information as well as curated business and life skills programs and initiatives.
Industry
To create, facilitate and nurture diverse and inclusive opportunities in the food, drink and travel industries for persons of African descent.
