About The Global Food and Drink Initiative
The Global Food and Drink Initiative (GFDI) is a multimedia nonprofit organization founded in 2020, a year of life and business-changing pivots witnessed around the world.
Dedicated to telling the stories of a global community of creators, influencers, food lovers and drink connoisseurs, GFDI picks up the torch from its flagship publication Cuisine Noir to expand the conversations, further amplify important voices and change narratives to uplift and include the diverse contributions of persons of African descent who are a part making the food, drink and travel industries what they are today.
