V. Sheree Williams
Sheree oversees the board by driving the mission through strategic planning and execution.
As a 16-year media veteran, she is a passionate journalist and storyteller, she’ll work with the board to drive revenue, increase donor contributions and global readership/listenership.
Leslie Brown
Leslie is a seasoned professional with a strong background in public health, with a focus on Black and Brown communities.
A wine enthusiast, she is a strong advocate for supporting spaces that amplify Black voices and will join GFDI’s board to support fundraising campaigns and lead donor engagement strategies.
Cary Wheelous
Cary is a veteran business professional experienced in product, marketing and technology with a track-record of execution and innovation in building and driving digital business.
He is the founder of Hayti, an all-in-one mobile app delivering daily world Black news, business, health, sports, HBCU & more from Black publishers around the world and joins GFDI’s board to help drive global growth within its media platforms.
